Paul McHugh

CEO & Founder

Paul is a Java developer, architect and product owner who has worked in the IT industry for 35 years and for the last 20 years specifically in the web, telecoms, digital content management and financial payment sectors.

He has a track record for delivering projects on time and to high levels of quality under stringent time constraints.

He has successfully lead teams of up to 10 people, planning and managing projects using both waterfall and Agile methodologies for 15 years.

Prior to founding Little Stream Software, Paul worked for 8 years at IPL in Bath and a further 9 years at Cramer Amdocs as a Principal Architect and Product Owner.

Little Stream Software's clients include financial, transport and tech data integration companies as well as charities such as the National Trust and the Bible Trust.

Development of the National Trust award winning holidays platform to provide a comprehensive search and booking funnel within their main website using Spring Boot, AWS, docker and Elasticsearch.

Capita Pay360

Development of new microservices to improve scalability of existing payment platform using Spring Boot, docker and Kafka.

Development of administration and search components for Train Movement Viewer using Spring Boot, docker, reactive APIs and Elasticsearch.
